W I D E R is a sonic platform founded by composer and sound engineer/architect Coco Francavilla, exploring the realms of electronic music.
It is an open space for adventurous sonic arts, welcoming forward-thinking creatives to expand multi-disciplinary synergies, experience sound journeys, and foster environmental awareness.
Born in the spring of 2024 on the secret shores of Ibiza, W I D E R merges two of Coco's imprints: ZK MUSIC—an electronic experimental label, composers collective, and licensing agency founded in Brooklyn in 2006—and Ibiza BLOOM Studio, a composer studio, sonic retreat, and ambient imprint established when she moved to the island in 2016.
Guided by a DIY punk attitude and a fascination with the contemplative tones of wider arts and sound synthesis, Coco has been in the music industry for the last 25 years, venturing into the oneiric and evocative side of electronic music. Having lived in London, NYC, Los Angeles, and Berlin, she has worked with cult artists such as Tricky (who referred to her as the “female version of me”), performed at festivals worldwide (such as Sonar, Mutek, Glastonbury), scored for films and visual media (including the trailer for Blade Runner 2049), and produced for established artists across songwriting, experimental ambient, and techno scenes INCLUDING working with Afterlife/Tale of Us as a sound engineer and musical director ON A WROLD TOUR.
Inspired by a deep commitment to sustainability and a passion for electronic music, multimedia arts, and the healing nature of sound, W I D E R emerged as an open space for adventurous sonic expressions, connecting multidisciplinary creatives with environmental awareness and mindfulness experiences.
